AFTERCARE

Proper aftercare is essential to ensure the best healing and long-lasting results for your machine or nano brow tattooing. Please follow these step-by-step instructions carefully:

Day of the Procedure

1. Gently Blot the Area:

• Use a clean, dry tissue or sterile cotton pad to gently blot your brows every 30 minutes for the first 2–3 hours. This helps absorb excess lymph fluid to prevent scabbing.

2. Avoid Washing:

• Do not wash your brows on the day of the procedure. Allow the area to start healing naturally.

Days 1–7

1. Cleanse Daily:

• Starting the morning after your procedure, cleanse your brows once daily.

• Use a gentle, fragrance-free cleanser (e.g., Cetaphil) and lukewarm water.

• Apply the cleanser with clean fingertips, lightly massaging the area. Rinse with cool water and pat dry with a clean tissue.

2. Apply Aftercare Ointment:

• After cleaning, use a small amount of the provided aftercare ointment (or as recommended by your artist).

• Apply a thin layer using a clean cotton bud. Avoid over-applying to prevent clogging pores.

3. Avoid Touching or Picking:

• Refrain from touching, scratching, or picking at the area to prevent infection or pigment loss.

• Allow any flaking or scabbing to fall off naturally.

Things to Avoid During Healing (Days 1–10):

1. Water Submersion:

• Avoid long showers, swimming, saunas, or heavy sweating.

• Keep your brows dry when washing your face or hair.

2. Makeup and Skincare:

• Do not apply makeup, serums, or skincare products directly on or around the brow area.

3. Sun Exposure:

• Avoid direct sunlight, tanning beds, or any UV exposure.

• Once healed, always use sunscreen to protect your brows.

4. Harsh Products:

• Avoid exfoliants, retinol, acids, or alcohol-based products near your brows.

Days 7–14

1. Moisturise As Needed:

• If the area feels tight or dry, continue applying a thin layer of aftercare ointment as necessary.

2. Light Activities:

• You may gradually resume light physical activities but avoid excessive sweating until the area is fully healed.

Long-Term Care

1. Sunscreen Application:

• Protect your brows with SPF to prevent fading.

2. Touch-Ups:

• Schedule your touch-up appointment (usually 6–8 weeks after the initial procedure) to perfect your brows.

3. Moisturise Regularly:

• Use a fragrance-free moisturiser to keep the skin hydrated and preserve pigment longevity.

What to Expect During Healing

Days 1–3: Brows may appear darker and bolder due to the pigment oxidising.

Days 4–7: Minor flaking or scabbing may occur. This is normal—do not pick.

Days 7–14: The pigment may lighten and appear patchy; this is part of the healing process.

Weeks 4–6: The final healed results will appear after the skin fully regenerates.

If you experience any signs of infection (redness, swelling, or pus), contact your artist or a medical professional immediately.

Enjoy your beautifully healed brows! Following these steps will ensure optimal results and maintain your fresh, natural look.
